The popular IT Leaders Forum returns this afternoon for discussions about how CIOs can better plan for and implement virtualisation technologies.
Virtualisation has proved to be an effective and popular way for organisations to grow their IT estate and capabilities without excessively expanding their physical infrastructure.
However, IT leaders still need to fully understand the implications of virtualisation before investing in the technology.
This event will allow CIOs and IT leaders to discuss the key issues around what it takes for an enterprise to virtualise its infrastructure.
The panellists for the day include:
• Karl Deacon, CTO of outsourcing services, Capgemini UK
• Stuart Dommett, business development manager, Intel
• Mark Leonard, executive vice president - infrastructure services unit, Colt Technology Services Group
• Adrian Steel, head of infrastructure management, Royal Mail Group
