Welcome to the first episode of Computing's new regular podcast, the IT Skills Debate.
In this series, we'll speak to key figures from the UK IT industry about skills.
Co-hosts Stuart Sumner and Dawinderpal Sahota speak to Frank Coggrave, general manager EMEA, Guidance Software and Philip Anderson, senior lecturer and programme leader for the BSc Computer Forensics degree at Northumbria University.
Thanks for the comment Will. In this episode we spoke to experts from IT security and education, so that was the area we focused on. We did extrapolate some of the points to the wider IT industry - but we'll be employing a broader focus in future episodes so please watch this space!

Does not really address other areas of IT. Questions I would like discussed are how the corporate "off-shoring" model is impacting training and skills. If students see most entry level jobs going off-shore what incentives are there for them to pursue a career in IT?
