The company that wins the new contract will provide services and support for a minimum of three years.

The contract is worth approximately £2.3m.

The organisation that wins the contract must be able to provide services that include accounts payable and receivables, cash management, tax management, financial accounts reconciliations and the provision of a system with an e-procurement solution.

Kitty Whitehead, the contact at LAS for the tender, commented that there was "nothing wrong" with the Integra system, but said the company is looking to "improve performance" by outsourcing the function.

Interface solutions for LAS' existing packages will also be implemented as part of the agreement, which will include real asset management, payroll and fleet management.

The function will be outsourced by April next year.
