Private equity has been investing in online sales

IT software giant SAP has launched a new product, ePages for SAP Business All-in-One, that – like many of its recent products – targets small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

The product will enable customers to set up an e-commerce site that is hosted in the cloud, with online orders processed alongside traditional sales channels.

The solution was developed by SAP and its partners, ePages and Honico eBusiness.

ePages provides e-commerce cloud service platforms and Honico eBusiness is a specialist firm that develops SAP system management products.

The software package is available to SAP Business All-in-One users in Western Europe and the US, and provides an on-demand online shopping site integrated with the Business All-in-One solution.

It is available as a subscription service in two versions: Basic, at $539 (£373) per month; and Flex, at $949 (£656) per month.
