Nokia ‘Plan B’ was just an engineer having a laugh

An open letter dubbed 'Nokia Plan B', which was purportedly written by nine disgruntled Nokia shareholders and which, among other things, called for the overthrow of CEO Stephen Elop, was apparently a hoax.

It was reported earlier in the week that Nokia Plan B would be brought to shareholder's attention at the next annual general meeting on 3 May.

However, a Twitter account associated with the web site where the plans were posted tweeted:

"In case it's not 100% clear by now: Nokia Plan B is a hoax. There are no ‘nine young investors,' just one very bored engineer who really likes his iPhone."
