Andy Palmer, UK MD of 3Com, has moved to Gigabit Ethernet specialist Foundry Networks. Palmer's departure comes amid the latest round of rumours that 3Com is up for sale. He refuted suggestions that his move is a reaction to 3Com's position in the high-end corporate market. Palmer will take up the role of European MD at Foundry.
