The people who set up Anderson & Lembke's technology arm have left to form their own advertising agency. Mark Mason and Simon Zimbler describe the new company, Mason Zimbler, as "a technology oasis". Mason said: "The majority of high-tech advertising is dreadful. That's because it's created by agencies who haven't the time or the inclination to get to grips with new technology products and the people who buy them." Mason Zimbler has opened from offices in Bristol and has plans for an office in London. Among its clients are Network Systems and Cayenne Software. Mason and Zimbler both qualified as engineers, in electronics and computing. Their association with Anderson & Lembke dates from 1991. "With ownership issues and differences in the direction of the brand we knew it was time to move on," said Zimbler.
