Indian business and technology provider Satyam Computer Services looks set to strengthen its hold on the global services market after several announcements last week.
The firm said it plans to acquire Chicago based management consultancy Bridge Strategy Group. This is Satyam’s fourth major acquisition, following the purchases of Citisoft, Singapore business intelligence firm Knowledge Dynamics, and UK based Nitor.
The latest acquisition, marked at $35 million will give Satyam 36 more strategy consultants, continuing its strategy to become trusted business consultants rather than simply maintenance work providers.
Satyam also announced 32 per cent year-over-year revenue growth and listed its American Depositary Shares (Ads) on part of NYSE Euronext, Euronext Amsterdam.
