The future of Fujitsu Siemens Computers has been called into question after it was reported that Siemens is considering pulling out of the joint venture.
The move could lead to the nine-year old IT services group being sold or dismantled, the Wall Street Journal reported, without identifying sources.
Siemens has informed Fujitsu of its plans and the Japanese group has the preferential right to buy its German partner's 50 per cent stake, but it is unclear whether it will opt to do so.
