Oldham Metropolitan Council has named Unity Partnership as preferred bidder for a £260m strategic partnership spanning 10 years.
The Unity Partnership is led by support services groups HBS and Mouchel Parkman, with support from Agilisys in providing ICT services.
The Oldham Council Cabinet appointed Unity as the preferred bidder today, and a period of negotiation will follow before signing the contract.
If successful, the Unity Partnership will deliver the council’s customer, exchequer, highways and property services from October, with ICT to follow.
It aims to improve the quality and efficiency of services provided to the local community through major investment programmes in IT and processes across council services.
James Measures, on behalf of Unity Partnership, said: ‘We are thrilled to have been selected as preferred bidder by Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council. We are looking forward to working together to secure a highly successful partnership, which will deliver excellent services to the people of Oldham.’
