Reuters signs IT services deal

News and information company Reuters has signed a £20m, four-year IT support contract with services provider Computacenter Services.

The deal is part of an improvement programme designed to increase service levels and control costs for Reuters' customers.

It covers IT support in the UK including service management, supply chain logistics and decommissioning of hardware.

Reuters will be able to improve both the quality and the effectiveness of the overall service, said Reuters head of professional services Beat Goehring.

‘We are confident that it will enhance staff career prospects, which was a key factor in our decision to partner,’ said Goehring.
