Convenience shop chain One Stop is using a telecoms expense management system to cut costs and generate annual savings of up to £40,000.
The software, which negotiates on existing and alternative telephony contracts, has been rolled out across the firm's 500 stores.
Complexity in managing telecom pricing options and packages was the main driver for the consolidation, said One Stop head of IT John Sargeant.
"A fundamental feature of the new system is the ability to provide visibility for cost trends for our multi-branch voice system," he said.
"With the new system, we are able to better procure and manage what is a significant constituent of our communications infrastructure."
The software was provided by Azzurri Communications.
