Unipart Logistics has awarded an £18m five-year IT outsourcing deal to Computacenter.
The agreement includes user, datacentre and network managed services, and will see Unipart's servers being relocated to South Africa.
Carl Powell, chief information officer for Unipart Logistics and Manufacturing, said the firm has a long -standing partnership with the supplier.
"Most IT industry experts believe that creating long-term relationships between suppliers and customers is important. I go further and believe that strategic, reciprocal partnerships will deliver more value to both parties," he said.
Computacenter will be responsible for supporting 2,200 domestic and 2,500 international Unipart IT users in the UK from its central service desk in Milton Keynes.
The service went live on 1 January 2009.
