Logica joins the bidders list for Galileo system support

Proposals for Galileo's development phase start next month

Supplier Logica has said it will bid for the system support element of the multimillion-pound European GPS Galileo, which went to tender this month.

The vendor is already one of Galileo’s most prominent suppliers, with more than €70m (£55.4m) worth of software contracts during the system’s in-orbit validation phase.

It is understood that prospective suppliers will be able to present their pitches to participate in Galileo’s full operational capability development phase in early August.
