CSC sales up nine per cent to £3.9bn

Computer Sciences Corportation (CSC) published delayed first quarter results alongside figures for the second period of its business year.

Revenue for the six months ended 28 September rose nine per cent to $7.9bn (£3.9bn), while net income totalled $183.9bn (£92m).

CSC completed its acquisition of services company Covansys in June, having bought the firm at a price of $34 (£17m) per share.
