IBM and Motorola have formed an alliance to develop software enabling mobile workers to access corporate databases and e-mail via wireless devices. The alliance also marks IBM's first steps into the wireless space. The software will be sold to carriers and businesses by both IBM and Motorola and will be available in the third quarter of this year.
