Internet and intranet website developer Motiv has launched two websites this month, for clients Halifax and IT market researchers, Spikes Cavell.
The Halifax site is designed to promote the services offered by the Isle of Man and Jersey offshore bases and is intended for use by savers who maintain offshore accounts. To ensure low site maintenance costs Halifax staff are able to update data over the Internet by using an online form rather than editing HTML and the website pages are generated dynamically.
In addition, to reassure customers concerned about security, Motiv has used strong encryption techniques which ensure direct communications.
The Spikes Cavell site, developed in conjunction with Motiv's web partner, The Website Consultancy, gives information about the company as well as access to some of its market research data.
Users of the site can query databases using a number of selection criteria to produce a spreadsheet in Excel format which can then be downloaded onto the desktop.
