Exams regulator awards service management contract

The Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) has awarded a multimillion- pound outsourcing contract as part of a strategic revamp.

European supplier Steria will support services for around 700 UK users, under the three-year deal, which will enable mobile and remote working and a data centre migration.

Further reading

Based largely around ITIL service management standards, the contract will also cover the implementation of a new telephone systems and the transfer of IT facilities to new offices.
