Linux to get a bite out of Apple's GUI

Veterans of Apple Computer and America Online are setting their sights on creating a Macintosh-equivalent GUI for Linux.

Start-up Eazel is aiming at addressing the problem that with current Gnome and the competing KDE user interfaces for Linux, it's still hard to avoid typing in commands, an activity found notoriously unpalatable by average users.
