The system's benefits include improved control of the sale of duty-free products, processing multi-currency transactions and electronic reading of boarding cards at the till.
World Duty Free's head of IT Adrian Frymann said: “Customers queue to check in, pass through security and board their plane. We were determined to play our part in achieving minimal queuing time in our stores and to provide our customers with great service.
"That calls for exceptional systems backed up by faultless service.”
Vendor Retail Assist provided consultancy on World Duty Free's Retail-J and Oracle environments, which are supported by a JDA-supplied interface.
Hi,
Has anyone had any good experience with a POS (Point of Sale) software lately?
I'm currently looking at POS MAID 2.26 from www.AlexandriaComputers.com to replace my Quickbooks which doesn't have enough features for me. Has anyone used this software title before? I need payroll, timeclock, POS, cash register, financial reports functions. Any suggestions would be greatly appreceated.
