All 72,000 staff at Lloyds TSB are to use electronic procurement for buying goods and services.
The system was developed in partnership with SAP Consulting and Capgemini UK.
It is a key part of the Lloyds TSB Group’s major Procurement Transformation Programme, says Mark Swyny, service and systems director, group procurement at Lloyds TSB.
'It will allow us to optimise control of spend and reduce costs,' said Swyny.
'Lloyds TSB is taking a strategic approach to align technology with business plans in order to provide an even better service for customers and a more effective way of working for employees,' he said.
