Whisky distiller John Dewar & Sons (JDSL) has signed a £600,000 contract with Hamilton-based CSI which will see the software supplier provide support for the implementation of SSA's eBPCS enterprise resource planning (ERP) package. The system is based on IBM's AS/400 platform and will be used in production, supply chain, financials, ecommerce and business intelligence. JDSL said BPCS is the most appropriate ERP package for its supply-chain strategy, and that it chose CSI because of its track record of delivering systems on time.
