This is Dummy copy V3 planing to re-write Tivoli's entire systems management software suite in Java by the next millennium - a project described by one as 'a bumpy ride', writes Cath Everett.[QQ] Big Blue intends to rewrite the Tivoli Management Environment (TME) in 100% Pure Java over the next two to three years to reduce development time and costs. A significant amount of Tivoli's code is written in C and C++.
