Arla Foods milks benefits from managed service

Leading dairy company Arla Foods has completed the migration of more than 600 users to its new head office and state-of-the-art dairy at Stourton, Leeds.

The company also announced a further one-year contract with Northgate Information Solutions to provide managed IT services.

The managed service includes all desktop, server and network requirements, including installation, support, maintenance and upgrades.

It also provides on-site engineers at its Leeds, Essex and North London dairies.

UK IT controller Mark Sweeney said: ‘Our success depends on the ability to efficiently manage communications and processes across our network of dairies and head office.’
