Nokia's net profits leapt to €1.56bn (£1.09bn) in the third quarter of 2007, up 85 per cent on last year.
Overall sales rose 28 per cent to €12.9bn (£9.01bn) during the period with revenue from mobile phones totalling €6.13bn (£4.28), a rise of three per cent compared with 2006.

Net turnover from enterprise solutions rocketed 105 per cent to €526m (£367m), driven by strong sales of the E65 smartphone.
Nokia now expects to have sold 1.1bn mobile devices by the end of 2007, a growth of 12 per cent on estimates for last year.
