Peoplesoft has set up Peoplesoft Select in the US to sell its human resources and financials applications to medium-sized business rather than its traditional corporate customer base.
The supplier is hoping to woo companies with turnover of between $50m and $200m and intends to help users design and install their systems.
It has agreed to resell Compaq and Hewlett Packard hardware and Microsoft software, including the SQL Server database, as part of the deal.
