Stationery chain Paperchase has ordered the Kpos Mach 4 retail system to integrate and manage its merchandise and warehousing system. The £115,000 system will run on an IBM RS/6000 F50 server and Informix Dynamic Server database. Paperchase said the system, which offers the ability to account for individual stock items in a specific shop, will enable the company to track sales of products closely and manage inventory more effectively.
