Google lets iPhone users access apps

Google has announced the release of a new iPhone application that lets users access all of its tools through a single interface.

The Safari platform made it easy for Google to develop the applications, it said, in this case using its browser technologies such as AJAX. In a statement the firm called it an "optimal Google experience". The applications in the mobile applications include Mail, Calendar, News, Docs, and search.
