The device is hosted in a standard PC card and can track a device in real-time to the nearest 15cm. Its inbuilt power source means laptops can be tracked even if they are not turned on.

The GPS tracking component inside the device will be remotely activated when a theft is reported, and will use the GSM network to report its position via the monitoring centre at regular intervals.

Unathorised attempts to remove the card will disable the laptop until the card is replaced or password protected enabling software is used.

Everyone should have one

My friend had a tracker fitted to her new laptop after a theft from her digs at Uni. New laptop was stolen but recovered when device was activated. Only problem is thief changed password and she can't access her work

Sounds good

Where can I get this sort of tracking device for my laptop? I have recently bought a new laptop and I wouldn't want to lose it. Sadly there are sad low life inbreeds who would steal other people’s property at the first opportunity.
