BT calls on Ilog software system

BT Information Services is spending around #250,000 on software components from Ilog to build a work management system for its 1,000-strong internal engineering workforce. Chris Brooks, senior project manager at BT, said engineering jobs were currently allocated manually, which meant inefficient use of staff. BT chose Ilog?s software, which will run alongside an Oracle database, because of its pre-defined class library modules and its performance.
