HP adds ISL to Advisor for Vlan optimisation

HP has added the inter-switch link (ISL) protocol from Cisco Systems to its Internet Advisor data communications test tool. The aim is to help network managers of virtual Lans to understand and optimise their VLans rather than just troubleshoot them using time consuming protocol-decode capabilities.
