A Government project to store all contract, delivery and processing details of agreements with farmers to grow non-food crops in the UK is to be completed by Science Systems. The client-server agreement monitoring system will replace the Intervention Board's ageing text-based system.

The application was developed using Computer Associates' rapid application development methodology and toolset, OpenRoad. Science Systems claims that toolset's ability to talk, via native drivers, to the existing Oracle V7 RDBMS was a key factor in winning the contract.
