BT aims to replace IT managers with a managed service that installs, supports and maintains a single server, PCs and network hardware in a small to medium-sized enterprise. Prices start at £37 per user per month.

The BT Business IT Manager package deploys hardware and software from Intel, HP and Microsoft and offers additional options like real-time fault monitoring. Telephone support and on-site maintenance is provided by 75 local BT business partners rather than BT engineers, but backed up by BT’s “extensive nationwide expertise”, said BT.
