Hotel chain Travelodge has completed the roll-out of wireless internet access in 30,000 rooms across its 330 hotels in UK and Ireland.
The Wi-Fi guest access system was delivered by Colubris Networks and Spectrum Interactive and was completed in January 2008, two months ahead of the originally planned March deadline.
“Our customers are internet savvy – in fact, 87 per cent of them book their rooms via our website – so installing Wi-Fi throughout our estate clearly supports their interests,” said Travelodge IT director Alex Thompson.
