The Egyptian authorities are worried about growing unemployment, with the job market being flooded by half a million new IT graduates every year. The government is pinning its hopes on the small-and-medium-sized business sector to turn things around. This sector employs around 94% of the Egyptian workforce and will be given more help to buy computers and other technology as part of an initiative to help it grow.
