Workflow and HR software specialists Teredo and LLP Group have announced they are to merge and rebrand the joint operation as systems@work as part of a major expansion strategy designed to bolster its portfolio of browser-based apps.

Under the agreement distributor Teredo and software developer LLP Group will join forces and unify all its branding in line with its time@work time sheet management software suite, rebranding its expense management suite eXpense as expense@work.

Managing director of the new company Michael Sheehan said that the rebranding would be followed by an expansion in the vendor's product line that will see it begin to offer a wider range of HR and workflow management-focused applications.

"A lot of companies are still using clunky legacy apps or even pen and paper to manage areas such as time sheets and project management," he said. "Advances in browser technology allow us to do a lot more than we could two years ago and we aim to add new browser based apps for invoice management, procurement and project management."

Sheehan added that ultimately the aim was for the company to offer an integrated browser-based project management suite to compete with Microsoft's project management software.
