FA Cup and Premiership winners Arsenal football club is spending #150,000 on a merchandising database system. Systems integrator Foundation will extend Arsenal's financial software package Tetra CS/3 to incorporate an Oracle database. The system pulls all existing information together to form a marketing tool, and will be used to send club supporters mailshots about new products. The integration work follows the building of a local area network between Arsenal's three shops and its central stock control system, based at the club's Highbury stadium in north London.
