Gamblers playing poker machines are being conned out of A$100 million a year, according to the country?s gambling regulator. It seems that thieves are stealing money from the machines, and hacking into the machine?s electronic cash records to cover their tracks. Fortunately, central monitoring of the machines will be introduced this year, maintaining a separate record of each transaction.
