Billionaire Yahoo shareholder Carl Icahn will oust chief executive Jerry Yang if he gains control of the board at the company's annual meeting in August, according to reports.
Yahoo has set the meeting for 1 August, when a shareholder vote for the board will be held.
Icahn has been building up support since Yahoo rejected a $47.5bn (£24bn) offer from Microsoft last month, and shares in the company are down 21 per cent since the bid.
