Adult content accounts for 69 per cent of the $1.4bn (£874m) online content market, according to analyst Datamonitor. The market is forecast to grow to $5.3bn by 2003 with adult content accounting for 58 per cent of business.
Online gaming and paid-for information are also expected to generate healthy revenues.
