DEFRA has selected BravoSolutions' eSourcing Platform to improve its procurement processes

The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) has selected BravoSolution's eSourcing platform to enhance the department’s procurement processes.

The eSourcing platform will allow Defra to send out tenders to thousands of suppliers virtually. Suppliers can then compete for the business by offering the best price possible.

The platform is also designed to simplify price negotiation, allowing Defra to optimise savings.

Defra will use BravoSolution’s eSourcing and eVendor management platforms to ensure it is getting the best prices on procurement expenditures over £25,000, reduce the amount of paper used in the procurement process and enable a much wider range of suppliers to compete for business.

“The work Defra conducts is as diverse as it is critical to the UK,” explained Nader Sabbaghian, CEO at BravoSolution. “As a result of this diversity, the department is faced with a wide range of purchasing challenges in its ongoing quest for best value.”
