ICL has won an #8 million contract from the Britannia Building Society to supply a Trimetra enterprise server and IT infrastructure and year 2000 services. Britannia says it wants to improve its efficiency to its customers through IT, as it faces increasingly stiff competition from building societies that have demutualised to become banks.
