192.com SafeBank uses voice recognition technology to generate a unique audio ‘voice print’ during customer registration. The system then works by triggering an automatic telephone call to a customer while they are registering their details, making a transaction or viewing their account details online.

The customer is prompted to enter a randomly generated four-digit PIN that is provided through the web session, and then answer a series of automated questions to verify their identity.
