CacheFlow has added the CacheFlow 500 series to its web-caching family.
The series supports internet connections up to 6Mbps, up to three E1 lines, and is based on the same technology as the CacheFlow 1000 and 100. Designed to eliminate the 'World Wide Wait', the products store information from web pages that are accessed regularly by multiple users, increasing the speed at which they can be retrieved. Primarily targeted at ISPs and Enterprises with 1Mbps to 6Mbps of bandwidth, it has 18GB of disk space, up to 384MB of memory, and three 10/100BaseT ports. Prices range from #12,000 to #14,000 based on configuration.
