Sunderland will use digital technology to beat social exclusion

Sunderland City Council’s technology plan to combat social exclusion has won the government’s £3m Digital Challenge.

The Department for Communities and Local Government’s competition invited regional groups to outline and submit a vision for a digitally-enabled society to better meet the needs of the local community.
