The MoD wants IT advice

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) is looking for suppliers for £120m-worth of IT, business and management consultancy contracts.

Vendors are being invited to bid for any of six framework agreements covering various types of services.

The deals the MoD is planning to let cover application and software development; business management and IT consultancy support; IT communications, interoperability and networking consultancy; advice on methodologies policies and standards; Oracle support; and “total solutions” that may combine aspects of each of the other areas.

Each contract is set to last for two years, and potential bidders have until 16 September to register their interest.
