Mongolia is embracing new technology as Internet cafes spring up and PCs arrive in some private homes. Not everyone is impressed, however. Dolgor Bat-Erdene, manager at the computer systems Mongol News Company, said: 'A computer is a luxury item. Company bosses all have PCs in their homes as well as their offices, but it's just for show - they just play games on them. Sometimes they don't even know how to switch them on.'
