ABN Amro Bank has signed a global contract, worth more than $10 million (#6.25m), for front-office treasury systems from information and financial software house Reuters.

The bank will rollout Reuters Kondor+ for deal capture, position keeping and tactical risk management at more than 400 desktops in its 30 global dealing rooms. Jolle Dekker, executive vice president organisation and information for ABN Amro, said Reuters Kondor+ offered the features needed by the bank. 'We chose Reuters Kondor+ because of its functionality and the robustness of the system,' he said.
