[QQ]Part two this week of our extracts from the guide to the millennium bug, extracted from style bible Wallpaper.[QQ] This week: what should you put in your bunker when the world's systems shut down? Wallpaper's models Colin and Frances will be OK on 31 December, filling their underground home with a Honda generator (#616.88), two mountain bikes (Cannondale, #1,399 a pop), candles (small #44 each, large #64) champagne (Dom Ruinart 1990, #54.99 a bottle) and Heinz baked beans (from a Waitrose selection).[QQ] Baked beans? 'You may tire of them, but they'll fetch high prices on the black market', the magazine suggests. If scavengers try to steal Colin's Helmut Lang sweater (a snip at #499), he has a handy crossbow, hired from Bapty & Co. 'There comes a time when you have to take care of your own,' Wallpaper warns ominously.
