McDonald's has signed a five-year licensing deal with Torex to provide point-of-service (POS) software across the chain's outlets worldwide.
The contract is an extension of the firms' existing relationship, which saw the deployment of handheld terminals, kiosks and POS systems at the burger giant's restaurants.
Torex had a tumultuous 2007. It was the subject of a private equity acquisition and an investigation by the Serious Fraud Office.
